A Lost Time

After taking the shot behind the dredge I moved back around to the other side where a number of old, rusted broken parts of the dredge have been placed as sort of a graveyard. Half of a main gear which drives the bucket line found it's final resting place here, it weighs a few thousands pounds! If I remember correctly the tube I'm sitting in was part of the tumbler assembly. All in all a very cool piece of history for the area.

7 shots for this one, 2 for the sky and 5 for the foreground (it was 4 for the foreground, but I took a separate one with my in the tube). Sky shots were 3 minutes at ISO 800 and f2.8, foreground shots were 3 minutes at f1.4 and ISO 1600, shot with my Nikon D800E and Sigma Art 50mm lens on a Sky Watcher Star Adventurer Tracking Mount.
