Milky Way Mosaic - 20 panels (6k)
Here's my mosaic update, 20 panels stitched, downsampled to 6k resolution (already pushing the max file size Flickr will accept in tiff format). Didn't put a whole lot of post processing effort into this, definitely a few stitching artifacts and a little noisy in the shadows, but it's coming together. It's so hard to appreciate the total resolution of this image, with no downsampling it's roughly 36k x 30k already and the photoshop document is almost 30gb! Another 15 panels to go, I'll reevaluate after 30 panels and see if I have covered enough area to be satisfied.
