A Devil's Concoction
Went up to the Devil's Kitchen near Mt. Nebo, an interesting formation that looks somewhat like a mini version of Bryce Canyon. It's a difficult place to get foreground shots, lots of trees don't allow for good angles with the core this time of year. Decided to bushwack it a bit and try to get a shot looking down the canyon, brought a bit of light pollution into play, but still plenty dark to get a good shot of the core. Definitely a challenging place to shoot.
6 exposures for this image all shot with my D800E and Sigma Art 50mm on a Sky Watcher Star Adventurer. All shots are 3.5 minutes and ISO 800, f2.8 for the foreground and f2.5 for the sky.
