Take it all in
One of the things I enjoy the most about using tracking mounts for my nightscape photography is the fact that the long exposures give me time to sit down and take it all in. Far too often I find that night photographers are so sucked into the back of their cameras, or worried about so many little things with their composition that they fail to really pause and enjoy the stars themselves. Here I've caught Bry lying down and taking it all in, this is what it's all about, a moment in a place that's so amazing under the stars.
13 exposures for this image, 6 for the sky and 7 for the foreground, shot with a Nikon D5300 and Sigma Art 18-35mm on a Sky Watcher Star Adventurer tracking mount. Sky exposures are 4.5 minutes at ISO 400 and f2.5, foreground exposures are 3.5 minutes at ISO 400 and f1.8.
