Moon Schmoon

The girlfriend and I decided to escape the heat to one of our favorite close mountain lake locations, we had about 30 minutes of shooting after it got dark and before the 90% moon started rise. I recently got a Voigtlander 65mm lens that I've been using with my Z7 as part of a big MW mosaic project and decided to stop shooting a panel when the moonlight got bright. We decided to keep shooting for another 20 minutes or so and so I put together this small pano using the lens with the core behind the lakeside mountains. Turned out pretty well I think, you can even see the moonlight starting to illuminate the mountain peak on the right. So, moon schmoon, keep on shooting when you think you can't get anymore!

6 exposures went into this image, all shot with a Nikon Z7 and Voigtlander 65mm f2 lens on a Sky Watcher Star Adventurer mini. Each shot is 1 minute 15 seconds at ISO 800 and f2.8.
