Bryony's Astrophotography
Stanley Lake
While staying in the mountains surrounding Stanley, Idaho Eric and I had the amazing luck to have five consecutive nights of clear skies to shoot! The mountains are so tall up here that you struggle to show just how intimidating they actually are. Especially when the Milky Way always seems to put mountains in their place. Nevertheless, the Sawtooth peaks in this photo were dramatic, lining-up with the core, and perfectly reflecting in the mirror-like still waters. Definitely one of my favorite places to shoot to date.
