Coal Goblins

Coal Goblins! Like the goblins in Goblin Valley, but just a little more interesting looking. With their gnarled shapes and dirty coal bases they are some of the weirdest weathered shapes of rock I have seen in my life as a geologist. Here they are sitting in front of one of the more prominent buttes in the Hankesville area with the Milky Way rising above!
